News weekend 30 March to 1 April 2018   |  10.04.2018

The outdoor season starts again with good results.

This weekend our rider Harm Lahde went to Bonheiden CSI3* in Belgium for the first outdoor competition of 2018.

With him were Heartfelt, Americana, Celebrity and Flickering Star

Americana competed in the CSI1*YH and came home with great results. Clear and placed in the qualifier and ending with 4th place in the final. Celebrity was also clear and placed in the 1,45m on Saturday and  Heartfelt had one down in the 1,50m Grand Prix on Sunday.

Flickering Star was the best of the weekend with a 6th place in the 1,40m on Friday and a super 2nd place in the  CSI2* 1,45m Grand Prix on Sunday.

At another show in Belgium this weekend Enkidu one of our 7yo stallions (Ensor van de Heffinck x Quidam de Revel), who is currently trained by Rolf Göran Bengtsson was in Peelbergen and was placed all 3 rounds in the CSI1*YH.

News weekend March 23rd - 25th 2018   |  10.04.2018

This weekend Harm traveled with four of our equine athletes to The Signal Iduna Cup at Dortmund CSI4*.

It was a mixed weekend for the team as Oak Grove's Laith pulled out a beautiful clear round in the CSIYH1* and took second place in the 1.40m Accumulator class of the youngster tour. Vogelfrei was also clear and placed in a wonderful round in a 1.35m class of the Small Tour.

Our big grey superstars Larry and Celebrity had a few forgivable mistakes this weekend, Celebrity with one down in the Medium Tour and Larry, still quite green at the 1.60m level, rubbed 2 poles in the exceptionally large Grand Prix on Sunday but we were very pleased with his ability to hold his own against the high caliber of combinations he and Harm faced this weekend and we know as he gains more experience at this level he will be one to contend with!

This weekend concluded the indoor winter season for the Green Dream Team and we are really pleased with the progress the whole team! Bring on the summer!

News 9-11 March 2018   |  21.03.2018

This weekend Harm braved the cold and traveled to Herning Horse Show CSI3* in Denmark.

It was a good weekend all round but our home bred, 2011, licensed stallion, Comme Fleur (Calido I x Romino I) who is from two associations (Oldenburg International and AES). He came out in top form as he was placed in all three rounds of the CSIYH1*. With these results he seems eager to carry on in the footsteps of his parents as his breeding is second to none. Sire, Calido I is a world renowned producer and dam and namesake Fleur III competed herself up to 1.60m with Micheal Whitaker (GBR).

The First Foals Are Here   |  24.02.2018

We are very pleased to announce the arrival of our first two 2018 future GE superstars!

A stallion foal by Ogano Sitte x Amethist (Argentinus x Contender) and a stallion foal by Untouchable x Padorena (Andiamo x Alme Z).

Mares and Foals are happy, strong and healthy and we are extremely happy with the new bundles of joy!

Another Week of Ribbons   |  24.02.2018

It was another successful week for the Green Dream Team as Harm headed off to Neumunster CSI3*. The weekend was full of ribbons but the biggest success of the show was Oak Grove’s Heartfelt coming 2nd in one of the toughest Grand Prix’s the combination have faced for a while. With only 2 riders through to the jump off we were waiting with baited breath as Harm, with the fastest clear in 1st round, waited for his turn against the clock. The groans from the crowd could be heard here in Varste as they tickled the one fence in jump off that meant we took 2nd place! Still a huge achievement and we are ecstatic to see what the combination will bring to the table for the rest of 2018.

Heartfelt was not the only one to come home with ribbons Oak Grove’s Celebrity was also 2nd in a 1.45m speed class and Larry placed 6th in a 1.50m. Oak Grove’s Laith was placed in two 1.40’s over the weekend showing that he is eager to join the big boys club as soon as possible! Well Done and Thank You to Harm and Jessie for another winning weekend!

Max was also out and about with the young horses and once again showed that he is truly our Springpferde Master by coming 1st and 2nd with Oak Grove’s  Commander Bond (5yo Stallion by Comme Il Faut x Lux) in the Springpferde Prufungs A and L. Good Job!

New Year in Neustadt Dosse   |  16.01.2018

The first show of 2018 for us was Neustadt Dosse CSI2* and it was the very first time Gestuet Eichenhain has had 2 international riders at the same show and Harm and Max both looked the part in their GE green jackets. Max and Babiche Van Het Gehucht Z (Ex: Oak Grove’s Brooklyn) had a few unlucky poles in pairs first attempt in the Big Tour but we believe they will be a force to be reckoned with in the coming months. Last year Harm amazed us all and was the winner of the Grand Prix and the 6 Bar with our grey giant Larry and Harm was interviewed by ClipmyHorse and spoke all about his feelings for the upcoming Grand Prix and the secrets of preparing horses for the big sport. The combination were a pole away from upholding the title but we are sure he will be back with a vengeance next year. Still it was a successful weekend for us as we also took Oak Grove’s Darshan and Oak Grove’s Laith to battle it out in their first 1.40 classes in the Youngster Tour for 7yo’s. The pair did us proud and showed us they are really ready for the big sport with fantastic clear rounds and placings in the final for both.

We have been delighted with the progeny of both Laith and Darshan since they started their breeding careers and we are very excited to announce that both stallions will be available for breeding this year along with Opus Magnum and Che via frozen semen. For more information about any of these stallions please contact the sales team or

We are also welcoming our new show rider Jacki Lynn Breslin (IRE) onto the Green Dream Team for 2018 and she will be attending her 1st show this week in Osterholz with some of the young ones. We wish her the best of luck and hope she’s well prepared for the busy and exciting life of a GE show rider.

What a Year It’s Been: 2017   |  30.12.2017

As we all recover from the Festive Season and the horses get used to carrying around the extra bit of Christmas weight we get ready for the New Year’s celebrations and look back on what a successful year we had as a team.

2017 was a big year for us! Giving Harm and Larry their first Grand Prix win at Neustadt Dosse early in the year. This along with the many more CSI2* and 3* Grand Prix placings allowed us to have the amazing experience and opportunity to travel to our first CSIO4* and Nations Cup in Linz and then onto our first CSI5* in Helsinki. We were delighted with the performances of our horses and are looking forward to the New Year where we hope many more opportunities of this magnitude will become available to us.

The World Breeding Championships at Zangersheide is always big part of our calendar and this year was no exception. We brought 5 superbly talented youngsters with us and were lucky enough to have 3 make it into the final. Oak Grove’s Che made it for the 5yo’s who amazed us all after putting in a phenomenal performance the week before at the Bundeschampionate went on to do it again a week later at the WBCYH. This is such a big ask for a young horse and he did it with such class that we really believe he is one to watch for the futures. Oak Grove’s Enkidu was in the final for the 6yo’s after 2 foot perfect qualifying rounds. But the absolute star of the whole week was Oak Grove’s Darshan, who as a 5yo in 2016 narrowly missed out on a medal with a mistake at the last. He was not willing to make that mistake again and with a foot perfect lightning fast round was the Silver Medalist for the 6yo’s!

It was also a big year for us in the breeding department. Breeding almost 60 foals from our own bloodline in addition to buying some foal from highly elite bloodlines and by using Embryo Transfer with the fantastic Dr Gallie and his team at Avantea in Italy and the team at Keros in Belgium we are very exicted about the new blood that will come up through the lines in the next few years.

The sales and auction team also had a hugely successful year as we sold more horses than ever before. With Fences being a big day in our auction calendar and this year was no exception with a total of 21 horses going under the hammer in France we made record topping sales in the second week and were really happy with the results. We also sold a number of horses at Dronten, Oldenburg, Zangersheide Online Auction and Hippochamp, but it wasn’t only auctions where the deals were made we also sold a number of horses all over the world privately. Carrapax di Villagana, Oak Grove’s Cheerleader, Oak Grove’s Lutece and Fair Play de la Brosse were just some of our top class horses sold this year.

In addition to all the success of the past year we also had 2 newly licensed stallions. Carlos who was licensed with Oldenburg in 2016 is now licensed with Zangersheide, and Fair Play de la Brosse was licensed with ZfdP!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the whole team at GE for their continuous hard work. We would also like to thank all of our partners, suppliers, sponsors and clients and of course the horses!! Without you all it would not be possible. Wishing you all the best for 2018 and here’s to a happy, fun and successful New Year!

Last Show of 2017   |  22.12.2017

It was the last show week of 2017 and we ended it with class. Max headed off to Timmel Springfestival on Sunday to compete in the 1.45m with Babiche vh Gehucht she fought for Max until the very end and just had an unlucky pole at the last but we are so pleased with the progress this inexperienced mare has made over the season.

Early in the week Max and Harm headed off to Osterholz- Scharmbeck late entry show to take the youngsters for their last trip of the year. The big surprise of the day was 2013 Stallion, Untamed (Untouhed x Unaniem) who produced two foot perfect clear rounds in the youngster classes winning one and coming 2nd in the other. The whole day was full of ribbons with placings for Harm with Americana, Desperado, Comme Fleur and Opus Magnum and Max was also placed with Commander Bond.

The big star of the weekend however was Rolf with Carlyle in Frankfurt, putting in a beautiful foot perfect double clear in the 1.50 World Ranking Class to end in 2nd. We are very happy with the way Carlyle has developed over the year and Oak Grove’s Enkidu has also taken a place in Holstein to further his education and we have high hopes for the combination in the 2018 season.

Let the Preselection Begin   |  22.12.2017

This week the freejumping team  jumped a total of 77 young 2yo’s and 3yo’s and discovered we have some hidden gem’s that we are very excited to see again. Darshan and Opus Magnum are proving to be as excellent at producing foals as they are producing results in the ring as their offspring were among some of the top jumpers of the 3 day trip.

Some of the other top finds of the week were a young stallion by Emerald out of our mare Riviera (Narcos II), a stallion by Heartbreaker out of Annatou Z (Artos Z) and a filly with the well suited name Leg’s Up Lottie who is the half-sister to our little jumping machine Zilzal by Baltic VDL.

Some of them were jumped for the very first time so it was too early to make concrete decisions but I think we can safely say that we have some future superstars in the making. Our selection process happens over the course of a few months where we jump the horses numerous times to judge scope, carefulness, intelligence, technique and most importantly heart. We will use these viewings to decide which horses will be for sale, for licensing’s, for elite auctions and which ones we will reserve judgement on until they can show us what they can do under saddle. It is an exciting time for the whole team as we discover what hidden gems we have waiting to come up through the GE ranks!

Another Successful Weekend for the Whole Team   |  12.12.2017

It was a big weekend again for Gestuet Eichenhain as the freejumping team headed down to Kreuth with some of our young talents for the ZfdP Stallion Licensing and TM 1st Annual Young Stallion Auction. It was a busy weekend for all involved made even tougher by the unrelenting snow and freezing temperatures. The team pulled it off though and the fantastic Fair Play de la Brosse, 2015 stallion by Emerald x Heartbreaker put in a foot perfect performance showing off his amazing elasticity and reflexes. He was rewarded by being named a licensed stallion for the Zuchtverband fur Deutches Pferde and we are very excited about his future breeding prospects. For Full results of the ZfdP Licensing and the TM Auction this weekend please visit the links below.

Another one of our young talents Balou Express (Balou du Rouet x Quidam’s Rubin) joined a select few of top quality 2yo stallions in the 1st Annual TM Young Stallion Auction on the Saturday evening. The auction was a great success and though we are very sad to see him go and would like to wish his new owners the very best of luck with this beautiful stallion.

While the freejumping team we’re busy in Kreuth the Riders were doing what they do best at our local show in Verden. There’s nothing like riding in front of your home crowd and Max and Harm ended the weekend with some very nice placings. Max was successful in the Youngster Classes for 7 and 8yos with Babiche vh Gehucht (Ex: Oak Grove’s Brooklyn) gaining very respectable 3rd and 5th places and also tackled his first 1.45 track with Babiche. She had an unlucky pole but we were very happy with her performance and expect to see more from this versatile mare. Harm also had success this weekend with Oak Grove’s New York who was 2nd place in the two phase S** and Oak Grove’s Vogelfrei flew around the Grand Prix and was pipped to the finish by a hair leaving him in 3rd place. Well done and thank you to the whole team for their continued hard work.

Another Big Week for the Green Dream Team   |  22.11.2017

Another big week for the Green Dream Team this week as our 2nd rider Max headed off to his 1st international show for Gestuet Eichenhain in Damme CSI2*. Cayenne D’Ive stormed into 3rd place in the CSI1*YH and Babiche VH Gehucht (Ex: Oak Grove’s Brooklyn) produced a lovely clear round on the 1st and just had unlucky poles on day 2 and 3 in what was by far the biggest and most technical courses she’s ever had to tackle.

Harm took a well-deserved weekend off and relaxed at the Oldenburg Stallion Licensing and Auction where we introduced 2 young stallions into the Eichenhain family. One handsome Premuim Stallion by Toulon x Argentinus and one licensed by Stakkato Gold x Ignan/Trak we are looking forward to welcoming the future superstars’ home.

Also the weekend, over in the Netherlands our Licensed Stallion I’m The One was competing in the KWPN Blom’s Stallion Show and was the winner of the 4yos! We would like to thank our partner’s Stal Bakker and Fredericks for their hard work preparing this beautiful stallion for the event.

Our 1st 5* Experience   |  27.10.2017

Horses all Home Safe from Our 1st 5* Experience

It was a big week for Gestuet Eichenhain as Harm and our Equine Athletes headed off to Helsinki International Horse Show CSI-W5* to compete in the stables first ever 5* and World Cup Qualifier against some of the best riders in the sport. .

We are so proud of the whole team with Oak Grove’s Celebrity placed twice in the highly competitive 1.40m speed classes.Oak Grove’s Heartfelt and Larry jumped their hearts out and tackled the huge technical courses with ease and flair. Oak Grove’s Heartfelt had an unlucky pole in the combinations first 1.60m Grand Prix, as did Larry in the World Cup Qualifier keeping us a stitch away from the jump off and our first world cup points. Even so, We couldn’t be happier with all 3 of them!

Everybody arrived safely home and are enjoying a well deserved rest after the long trip. They had better get used to it though, because with performances like this it looks like they have many more long trips and high profile shows in their futures. A big thank you to Harm and Jessie for their constant dedication and care of our four legged superstars and making it possible for the team as a whole to Dream Big!

3 Riders, 3 Shows, 3 Victories: GE is the Place to be   |  01.10.2017

This weekend our riders were located all over Europe and 3 different competitions and all came home victorious.

Here are some of the highlights:

Harm travelled to Lier  CSI2* where he had a hugly sucessful week winning a 1.40m speed class with Oak Grove's Celebrity, while Oak Grove's New York also won a highly competitive CSI1*YH 1.40. Oak Grove`s Laith was also on top form placed twice 2nd in CSI1*YH for 6yo's. Larry also pulled out all the stops in the Grand Prix to bring us into 2nd place.

Rolf was with Oak Grove`s Carlyle in Barcelona Spain CSI3* and jumped a spectacular round in the 1.45m speed class and was awarded 2nd place.

Massimo was in Niedernstöcken, Germany and was again the winner with Oak Grove`s Brooklyn taking 1st place in the M*. The youngsters were also on top form with placings in the A and L for 4yo's Oak Grove's Commander Bond and Oak Grove's Double Take.

World Breeding Jumping Championships in Zangersheide   |  26.09.2017

We had an amazing week at the World Breeding Championships in Lanaken. With a truck full of superbly talented younsters we were rewarded with fantastic clear rounds and places in the Finals for Oak Grove's Che, Oak Grove's Enkidu and Oak Grove's Darshan.

Harm and Oak Grove's Darshan were the stars of the show and were the silver medalist's in the 6yo Final, 2nd only to Ger O'Niell and Columbcille Gipsy who was fiercly defending his title from last year. The smile on Harm's face could be seen from Timbuktu and I think Darshan recieved some extra carrots that evening from our ever dedicated show groom Jessie.

Our victory as a team was two fold as our 3yo, Premium Oldenburger Stallion, Carlos, (Cascadello I x Balou du Rouet), put in a fantastic freejumping performance and was looking immaculate as he was announced as a Licensed Stallion in the Zangersheide 2017 Stallion Approval.

If you would like any information about Oak Grove's Darshan, Carlos or any other of our licensed stallions please contact: Sales at the bottom of the page.

This was the end of the summer season for our young horses and they are enjoying a well deserved rest before the beginning of the indoor season. We would like to thank the whole team for their hard work over the entire season.

For the full list of results from the World Breeding Jumping Championships of Zangersheide 2017 please check out the link below.

Oak Grove`s Carlyle and Rolf Göran Bengttson are the winners   |  26.09.2017

Oak Grove's Carlyle showed us this weekend that he's in it for the big sport. With Rolf in the saddle he carried him to a win in the two phase 1.45m in Forst.

We would like to take this oppourtunity to thank Rolf and his team in Holstein for all of their continued hard work.

The Horses are En Route to France! Agence FENCES   |  25.08.2017

The Horses are En Route to France!! Agence FENCES

After a hugely successful selection here at Gestuet Eichenhain in May the Agence FENCES Auction selected 21 of our young free jumping talents to go under the hammer next week in Bois le Roi. The first of the superstars left us yesterday ready for the live presentation for the Elite Auction on Monday 28th August. The horses will be sold throughout the week and further information about the lots can be found at

We have a total of four exhibits in the Elite Auction including Vishnou de Hus who is a 2014, Vivaldi du Seigneur stallion out of the mother of Meredith Michaels Beerbaum’s, Bella Donna who also called Gestuet Eichenhain her home in the beginning of her career. Another eye catcher we will be presenting is a foal who must only be introduced as the full brother from Nino Des Buissonnets (Ridden by Steve Guerdat). We are very excited to see these horses make their debut in France on Monday.

In addition to the Elite Auction we have also 17 horses selected for the Auction on Sunday 3rd September, there is a great selection of fantastic breeding and jumping talent available and the full catalogue can be found at

Below are the links to our horses in the Elite Auction:

The Youngsters are Ready to Rock   |  20.08.2017

In final preperation for the German National Championships (DKB Bundeschampionate) and the 2017 World Breeding Championships in Zangersheide we took all of our young equine athletes to compete in theie last national competition in Nienburg before exciting weeks ahead!

We were rewarded for all our hard work with some fantastic rounds and placings for the youngsters. Oak Grove's Che and Oak Grove's Zilzal recieved top placings in both their classes showing that they are well and truly ready for the challenges to come. There were also top placing's for Oak Grove's Darshan and Oak Grove's Laith in the M**.

But the stars of the week were Oak Grove's Brooklyn who was the winner of yet another M class with Massimo and the 7yo Oak Grove's New York who undertook his first 1.45m class and impressed us with a foot perfect clear round and a respectable placing against horses with years more experience. Clearly that was not enough glory for the youngster for one weekend as he recieved a top placing in the S* with joker the follwing day proving to us that he is really ready to take on the best 7yo's in the world in Lanaken in a few weeks.

Carlyle is Moving Onto Bigger Stuff   |  06.08.2017

This weekend Rolf decided it was time for our 9yo gelding, Oak Gove's Carlyle to tackle his very first CSI4* Grand Prix. He did so with great flair and style with a fantastic clear round. Just one unlucky pole in the jump off kept us away from a top placing but for a 9yo in a 1.60 class this can be forgiven!

Harm also had a sucessful weekend with Oak Grove's Celebrity winning the Medium Tour Final on our home turf in Verden CSI2*. This came after high placings in the qualifiers early in the week. The rest of the riders had a weekend's rest from the ring and spent their time enjoying the sun watching Harm do all the hard work. Its not every day an international show is down the road from you and we decided to let them enjoy it!

Rosettes for Everyone   |  31.07.2017

Another fantastic show weekend is over and all our riders have something to show for it.

Great result on Sunday July 30th 2017 for Rolf in International CSI3* in Lier. Oak Grove`s Carlyle was placed in the 1.55 Grand Prix.

For the rest of the Team the National competition in Stuhr/Stelle was the place to be.

Springpferdeprüfung class A* ended for us with fantastic results: Massimo was in 1st place for Oak Grove`s Desperado with Dimitar close behind with Oak Grove's Marauder in 2nd and Oak Grove's Dartmouth in 4th.

Harm managed to win both the L and the M* with the younsters Oak Grove's Zilzal and Oak Grove's Americana, with Dimitar hot on his heels again with Oak Grove's Enkidu in 2nd place.

Our Show Groom Jessie also had a spin in the ring this week with Oak Grove's Zilzal and managed to get herself a very respectable 2nd place. Harm might have to start looking for a new show groom because we think she might be in wrong job!

Darshan Does It Again   |  16.07.2017

Sunday July 16th was a great victory yet again for our premium stallion Oak Grove`s Darshan winning the CSI1*YH Final at the DKB week in Groß Vigeln. He really is a genuine talent with scope to jump the moon and the heart of a trojan.
This sucesses comes alongside the freejumping teams discovery that the first of his progeny have inherited the talent and scope of their father. Early indications of these talent youngsters is that they will indeeed follow in thier fathers footsteps.
For more information about Oak Grove's Darshan breeding possibilites please contact Natalie.

The Boys are Going to Bundes   |  12.07.2017

Two of our licensed stallions, Oak Grove's Che and Comme Fleur qualified for the German National Championships this week.

The beautiful Oak Grove's Che pulled an astonishing round out of the bag which showed us he is really one to watch for the future. Gaining himself a place in the elite competition for 5yos and earning himself a rest before the tough preperation begins.

Comme Fleur also jumped a fantastic round which highlighted his scope and agility, proving that he does well and truly deserve to be there in September. These two young talents are the only Stallions we will be presenting this year and we are really looking forward to seeing how they will perform when the stakes are higher.

Another Successful Weekend for the Green Dream Team   |  09.07.2017

Harm was on the road again this week. Travelling this time to Spanenberg International where we had another string of good results.

Our Premium Stallion Oak Grove's Darshan was placed twice in the highly competitive CSI1*YH which for a 6yo is a huge acomplishment.

Oak Grove's Celebrity was placed once again in the 1.50m medium tour. But the star of the weekend was our big grey superstar Larry coming in the top 5 of the Grand Prix against some extremly talented combinations. With just an unlucky pole in the jump off between us and the top placing.
It was not only Harm that had a successful weekend. Our second rider Max was the winner of the Grand Prix of the national competition Hellingrode with Oak Grove's Brooklyn, who also achieved a high placing the the M** at Stuhr Stelle the next day. Harm better watch out because this combination are hot on his heels!

Another mention for our rider Harm Lahde in the KreisZeitung again this week following his fantastic performance in Braunschweig at the Lowen Classics. Placed yet again in the Grand Prix with Oak Grove’s Heartfelt  but also hugely successful in the CSI1*YH with Oak Grove’s New York finishing 6th place in the youngster final but even more impressively as the best 7yo of the show!

Harm’s Still on Great Form: More Top Placings at Warsaw   |  24.02.2017

After the success of the past few weeks the town is really showing its support of Harm with more write ups about his achievements. Warsaw was another great weekend for us with top placings for Oak Grove’s Flickering Star in highly competitive international classes. Larry also amazed once again to gain 2nd Place in the Grand Prix!

Oak Grove’s New York and Oak Grove’s Celebrity also achieved notable placings and Oak Grove’s Heartfelt was also placed in the Grand Prix making it a highly successful weekend allround. Well Done Team!

Success for Eichenhain’s Young Horses at Fruhlingserwachen

Our young horses jumped their way to success at the weekend gaining good placings in the freejumping competition in Doehlbergen. The well bred youngsters Montego Z (Mylord Cathago x Polydor) and Quidame de Taloubet Z  (Quidam de Revel x Diamant de Semilly) placed 4th and 3rd respectively against a highly competitive turn out. We are very proud of our horses and freejumping team for putting on such a good show.

The Perfect Start to 2017: Neustadt Dosse give us a Double Win   |  09.01.2017

Words cannot describe how proud we are of our rider Harm Lahde and Larry this weekend. With Harms first ever Grand Prix win it is the perfect start to year, but not only that, Larry showed his scope and determination with another win this weekend in the Six Bar Competition. These two together really are a Dream Team!

A Blast From the Past: All Star   |  31.05.2016

Here at Gestut Eichenhain we get so much attention for our current successes that we sometimes overlook our superstars that have moved on. Luckily for us the Hannoveraner Verband haven’t, and felt it was necessary to remind us of one of our own by making All Star V the cover story of the upcoming auction. All Star V  now a showjumping sensation with Denis Lynch, started his career here at Gestut Eichenhain when we bought him as a foal at the very auction he is now the cover story of. After seeing his potential at the tender age of 4 months we won the bidding war and welcomed this little colt into the Eichenhain family. We trained him up to international level but he has now been with Denis Lynch since 2012 and has a phenomenal track record. We love to see our horses from the past

Connected Makes the Cover:   |  22.03.2016

Our 2016, licensed stallion, Connected (Contender x Corofino) made headlines at the Holstiener 84th Fruhjarhs Auktion in Elmshorn, last month. After a fantastic end to the 2015 summer season, in which he won numerous qualifiers for the National Championships and then went on to jump 3 foot perfect rounds in the Championships themselves to finish 7th, he naturally caught the eye of the Holstein Association. To our delight he made it onto the cover of the brochure together with our rider Harm Lahde and was also featured in the trailer. This lead to a great amount of client interest and resulted in him being one of the top sellers of the day. We believe we will see great things from this young talent in the future and wish his new owners the very best of luck!

Cedrus Struts his Stuff:   |  12.02.2015

It was a proud moment for Gestut Eichenhain at the ZdPf Stallion Approval when our 2013, Calido x Pilot, stallion, Cedrus really showed us what he’s made of. He jumped his way to being declared a Premium Stallion and finished as reserve champion. Clearly this horse has what it take to be a success in breeding and the sport and we at Gestut Eichenhain cannot wait to see him strut his stuff under saddle later this month at the Hannoveraner Verband for the 3 and 4yo Approval.

During the Youngster Tour Carlyle by Casall, and Dr. J by Diamant de Semilly took both a fifth place.
